Being “born again” is a biblical term that refers to a spiritual rebirth or regeneration. It is based on the teachings of Jesus Christ in the Bible, and comes from a conversation between Him and a man named Nicodemus, who was a Pharisee and a member of the Jewish ruling council. Jesus told Nicodemus that “no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”  In other words, being born again is a prerequisite for entering heaven.
 

There are several reasons why one must be born again: one is that all humans are born into sin and are separated from God as a result. Being born again allows a person to be reconciled with God and to receive eternal life. Another reason is that being born again gives a person a new nature and helps them to live a godly life.

"If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved." Romans 10:9-10

PRAYER FOR SALVATION

 

Pray this aloud: "God, I repent of my sins and surrender my life to You. Wash me clean. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. That He died on the cross for my sins and rose again on the third day for my Victory. I believe that in my heart and say with my mouth, that Jesus is my Savior and Lord.  By faith, I receive Your free gift of salvation. Thank You I'm now a part of Your family and a citizen of Your Kingdom, amen."
